The Sacred Ordinary

Perhaps you're a mother at home, or a caretaker, or simply the one who quietly holds everything together. To the world, your days may look ordinary. But beneath the surface of your unseen efforts glimmers a spark of the divine.

Leanne Bowen wants you to start seeing and feeling it. She invites you to begin perceiving the ordinary in a different way - to see the sink full of dishes as an invitation to love, the overflowing laundry baskets as proof of memories made and adventures embraced, with the promise of more to come. Those interruptions that pierce and scatter your day? Divine appointments, tasks that are often thankless but that can bring immense formation to your soul.

That which no one else notices, God notices. He sees you, cherishes you, sheds graces on every small thing you do. When you embrace the present moment, however chaotic or mundane, each little task becomes an act of love, a quiet treasure of beauty, a small part of a great adventure that guides you toward eternity.

In these pages, Leanne invites you on a sacred and surprisingly exhilarating journey. Through her real-life stories, tender meditations, luminous watercolor paintings, and heartfelt prayers, she gently reveals how the ordinary can become a ladder you can climb straight into the Heart of God. Along the way, you'll meet magnanimous souls - saints and everyday heroes alike - whose love reflects God's love and whose lives invite you to follow.

Here you will find beauty, truth, and goodness, as you discover:

• How your home can become a shelter from the storm
• Why making the bed just might be the first step to greatness
• Words of encouragement to fortify you on the days you feel weary
• The quiet ways God multiplies what little you have - just as He did with the loaves and fishes
• Why Christ dwells within you, making even your smallest acts holy
• How to make your home a place of beauty that draws souls toward Heaven

It's time to be free - to receive the newness of life that Christ is longing to give you. He is waiting to refresh you, heal you, pour His mercy over the whole of your day. Open these pages, and you will begin to see the miracles of His love woven quietly through the nitty-gritty of your "ordinary" life.
