Sr. Dede ministered at Ground Zero on September 11, served as St. Mother Teresa’s personal physician, was deployed as a surgeon to Afghanistan for Operation Enduring Freedom, facilitated the rescue of citizens hiding from the Taliban, and travels regularly to the war-torn Nuba Mountains in Sudan to provide life-saving medical care to inhabitants under siege.

Dubbed “the Mother Teresa of D.C.,” Sr. Dede continues to provide medical care to the marginalized from her convent basement clinic and administer the abortion pill reversal procedure that has resulted in the delivery of more than a dozen healthy babies. At home and abroad, she spreads her message of love and her exhortations for remaining in the state of grace so that we might all attain our eternal end — eternity with God in Heaven.

Dr. Leisa Marie Carzon is an Assistant Professor and Catholic School Leadership Graduate Program Director, President and Chairman of the Board of the Heart of Christ Clinic, President of Plymouth Right to Life, President and CEO of the St. Thomas Aquinas Fund for Religious, and a National Executive with Right for America. She is a former CEO of Awake America and, as Michigan’s State Director for Catholic Vote, previously led the nation’s largest grassroots group in rallying the pro-life vote. She has served as a development executive and consultant for the Dominican Sisters of Mary and LifeSite News. Her strategic leadership, political advocacy, nationwide academic research initiatives, and development and communications work have advanced important causes that critically impact our Faith and our nation. In addition to her other professional work, Dr. Carzon is a coloratura soprano whose featured solo work includes opera and oratorio performances both nationally and internationally.
