The illustrated calendar families love — now following today’s calendar
For years, The Illustrated Liturgical Year has helped families, schools, and parishes see sacred time illuminated in beautiful, fully illustrated posters. Until now, that gift followed the traditional calendar alone.
This new edition brings the same devotion and craft to the Novus Ordo — the calendar most Catholics pray with every day — so anyone can watch the seasons of grace unfold on the wall of a home or classroom.
Same beloved idea. A new artist. A calendar made for the way your parish keeps time.

What the finished posters will look like
Each sketch becomes a richly detailed, full-color illuminated poster — made to frame and display all season long.

John Folley
John Folley is a New England–based independent artist and event painter. He earned his B.A. in Studio Art and Philosophy from the University of Notre Dame and went on to serve as Art Department Chair and instructor at The Heights School outside Washington, D.C. In 2018 he completed his training in the Boston School of Painting under master artist Paul Ingbretson. Working in oil, he paints still lifes, portraits, and sacred subjects.
His studio sits on the historic town green in Lancaster, Massachusetts, where he lives nearby with his wife and studio manager, Deirdre, and their six young children. For this edition, he brings that classical training to the Novus Ordo calendar in his own hand.
